People call a handful of incidents anecdotal evidence yet practicing statisticians will use sometimes use sample sizes of less than 10. There is no fine line distinguishing them.

That's because anecdotal evidence is empirical evidence. It's not very good empircal evidence, though, since it implies no controls. On the other hand, it's unironically more relevant than soience when dealing with real world complexities -- at least your subjective impressions actually factor them in.

That's retarded. Flies are too small to lay eggs, that Redi-spaghetti faggot must have moved the maggots from the meat to the top of the cloth, to trick people into thinking filth was okay to leave around if you just cover it.
