A decent education in biology includes physics from thermodínamics through fluid dynamics to electromagnetics and optics. It laso includes basic quantum mechanics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and further up. Then you need a decent ammount of mathematics.
Over all, the thing about biology is it is a field at the intersection of other fields of science.
To be fair, there is also a lot of memorisation too. If that is a problem for you, you are an idiot.
