>>14415326Oh do you guys get 5 parts? I actually don't know about the software shit, I don't do the job you're applying for so I can't be much help. I only got 3 though I think, but maybe it has changed. I'm including those stupid tests they gave in the first part though, I don't know if you mean those ones as a separate thing.
Interview is tricky as you'd expect considering the pay, but desu the first round should be fairly straightforward as long as you're actually qualified for the job. I wouldn't worry too much about that at least.
Second stage they'll probably give you some practical problem to solve which will be a lot harder than the first stage. That's the point where you have to think for yourself rather than just blitz some problems with an interviewer.
Third stage they'll pay for you to come see them in Sydney (or not, if you have 5 stages).
I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it. If you're qualified you'll be ok at least getting through the first part.
To make you feel better, I know a guy who I think is a total midwit who got in. He just studied for those quant interviews for ages until he got a role. Total brainlet, fat, and has massive yellow fever. If he can do it a lot of /sci/ can.
