curious how everybody does their mandelbrot zooms. I tried doing one on my own but I think my computer just isn't built for it it's only an i3. Do I need an i7 to do it right?

you don't do it in real time for deep zooms. And don't use the cpu for that gpu is way faster for the zooms you are trying. Its been a while but I think you get e10 with a normal float setup e15 with doubles and more if you use your own floats. The orbit trap method never worked for me.
Use something like taichi to quickly switch between cpu and gpu backend and you will see which is more efficient.

well thats fucking stupid.
You calculate the every point in the mandelbrot set and color it accordingly so just pick a point and render that instead. Normally you would just multiply/divide your uv by a zoom factor and use a offset to move the camera.
