No, it's because in and of itself, being able to do complex calculations doesn't reflect any actual mathematical insight or intuition, nor does it reflect a generalized capacity for complex mental manipulation. The same will still hold even if you get some neural calculator implant: it won't expand your network of knowledge, it won't help you make any new connections, it won't improve your mathematical intuition, and it certainly won't improve your general intelligence. What's worse is that the same will apply to any "brain enhancements" you can think of, except holistic ones that improve the functioning of each and every neuron in your brian.
