The only instance that I can imagine 4 months being useful is when I take extensive time to come up with the understanding myself in my head instead of reading the book, which is a good exercise from time to time but not efficient to get things done.
I used to think "of course it takes 4 months to cover this" until I though about how much text is actually being covered over that time. Two weeks full-time, 40 hours per week, to cover 150 - 300 pages of content is not much in any sense. You can even tack on an extra week for exam, project, or break and it's still miles better than what we have now. And imo it's better for normalfags too because their focus isn't jumping around constantly. Less exam stress; if you fail, it's only two weeks wasted as opposed to four months.
