I have been hearing a lot about hair cloning. What's the progress on that?

Also, I'm hearing of new methods that introduce competitive androgens to latch onto DHT receptors in hair follicles to prevent miniaturization. What's going on with that?

I'm hoping that the tech that has long been "close to leaving the lab" that allows for true hair transplants, not from your own head but from other people, comes true. Not because I'd get a hair transplant but because I know what's going to happen: lots of middle age and elderly guys in the first world will end up sporting the hair of third young worlders who will now be bald because they sold all their follicles. Eventually women will get in on the act too. Black women in the west will sport the hair of Indian women while also decrying white women for cultural appropriation if they ever get a transplant. Should be a fun cultural shitshow to watch.

yep, this isn't the 60s/70s anymore when there were tons of desperate women looking for a provider.

This isn't exactly true. Hair loss is due to a combination of different genetic factors. While there is a gene on the X chromosome that greatly influences your chances of inheriting male pattern baldness, it's not the sole determinant.

sorry bud, looks like DHT is the root cause. last time i remember you posting this stuff, there wasn't really a lot of evidence for this very detailed theory, only evidence that there is more to know than simply DHT.

What are you talking about, chronic tension precedes the androgen response as shown in the graph.

The article is full of sources and there are more. If DHT were the root cause, you would see complete recovery of baldness in eunuchs.
