>>14398929>Define "pandemic skepticism"Doubting that Covid19 was dangerous enough to warrant all the authoritarian measures.
>Vaccine hesitancy is the only sane choice given that the virus is not at all deadly relatively speaking and the vaccine literally so experimental that even the creators said you shouldn't take it. It's also useless or worse against current variants.I agree 100%. But you are a minority of minorities in being able to reach this sane conclusion. You have people getting the vaccine because they truly believe Covid19 is the next black plague, and people not getting the vaccine because they don't think viruses exist.
The fact you were able to reach such a conclusion is because you actually are capable of questioning authority. 60%+ are not. Of the remaining 40%, 20% cave to social pressure, and 15% are to some degree, anti-social.
>These are the people you now claim are "compliant" and dare I say, "responsible" even. Please don't put the word 'responsible' in my mouth. They are compliant. Those parties happened because authority told them the vaccines were 100% safe and effective.
>Not sure what you're getting at here. The OP of this thread was about how despite being 85% vaccinated, South Korea is experiencing its worst wave yet, in terms of death (what we are NOW told the vaccines protect against). I believe you had some 'well ending lockdowns is a confounding variable' argument. My point is that with a disease as non-lethal as covid, if the vaccines were even 50% effective, such waves would not occur.
I personally believe ADE is evolving and it's going to get worse.
