Reading this book and something came to me

Gravity is just time running at differnt paces in different places.

Things move from places where time is fast, to places that time is slow, because gravity brings them together.

With the above in mind... Is dark energy, the force that pushes outwards in the universe conversely to gravity, a form of flowing backwards in time?
