Realistically speaking, how likely is it that humans kill all life on this planet this century? With the Cuban Missile crisis and nuclear tensions increasing with the War in Ukraine, and the research of antimatter bombs, it seems like a matter of time before one country invents a weapon so powerful it threatens to eradicate all life on Earth. We don't even know what kind of weapons we'll have in 50 years, possibly something even more powerful.

It doesn't seem like there are enough checks and balances around these technologies, and one bad dictator getting in charge can threaten to undo billions of years of evolution on this planet. And if we somehow make it out of this century, what about the next century? What about the next 1000 years? Can we really expect world peace for that long?
