Why the hell do American (and I assume people in the west in general) say "one over 20" and other such things when saying fractions? That tells you absolutely nothing about the actual mathematical relationship between the numerator and denominator of the fraction, and instead literally just describes how the fraction is written. Now compare that to saying something like "one [divided] by 20", since one is being divided by 20. Makes much more sense, conveys some actual mathematical information, and doesn't sound ass backwards either.
