Second, timing may seem coincidental, but you have to remember that SLS has been delayed for years. Initially it was supposed to launch in 2017. Now it's almost finally ready to launch. Meanwhile, Starship is in that weird state where it can't definitely launch due to legal reasons, and we can't be sure too if it's technically ready for launch.
Keep in mind that it is not a regular review, for some small airfield in the middle of nowhere, but for a launch site for the biggest rocket in human history. Of course it's going to take time.
