Interesting that /sci/ is so on edge that the automatic assumption is that OP's post is about some pseudo-science from the fringe when he could have simply meant the controversy over which map projection is appropriate for particular uses. Then again, OP didn't make clear what controversy he was referring to, so he's likely posting in bad faith for his own amusement.
