bros is it just a coincidence that I got eye pain after consuming a small bit of dried amanita muscaria? Eye doc said the eye is okay and that I should see a neurologist

If the condition gets worse, or lasts more than 3 days without getting better, see a doctor.
This happens with amanita muscaria.
Also, symptoms like changes in vision, continued redness, or irritation.

Sounds like you might be sensitive to it.

It's weird because it's only one eye and it's not visually irritated. Also I took a small placebo dose up to 1g max. I can't say if I felt any effects that weren't placebo. And this pain has been bothering me for at least 2 weeks now.

try gently pressing on the bones around your eyes and nose

also try this technique: gently press between your eyebrows then press up on the roof of your mouth with your tongue then repeat
