?Colors are produced by splitting the light spectrum of sunlight
?Sunlight is actually a combination of different wavelengths of light emitted from burning elements on the Sun
?Sunlight "crashes" on matter ie on Earth and most of it is being absorbed (exciting electrons which produce thermal energy and and other types of energy/actions) but some of it is being reflected
?The reflected light's wavelength(s) is what we call the color of an object (for liquids and gases the light that escapes)
? Objects reflect light due to the nano structure on their surfaces which prevents it from absorbing, while in liquids and gases the nano structure of the particles let it pass through while absorbing some
?The light that got through or reflected hits our eyes where is getting focused by the lenses and ends up on the bottom of the retina where again nanostructured cones and rods divide the different wavelengths (if any) and excite specific neurons respectively
?These neurons produce a signal that is being interpreted by our brain as color
These are the facts. We all see the same wavelengths and we all interpret them by the same mechanism. So we all see the same colors except when some mutated genes cause colorblindness.
