this is what the psued midwits on this board dont understand in any sense of the meaning. What this is referring to is that both exist as a possibility, a computation. Just like in a video game there is nothing behind what the player is looking at, only a possibility when they turn the charter(camera) to look at does it come to "exist." You are the observer in infinite possibilities but they dont truly exist until you actively observe them. When you turn the video game characters point of view/camera to look behind you all the graphics that are created werent there waiting to be looked at, they were just code that computationally rendered in real time to be "objects" you could observe when you turned your observation in that direction.

doesn't this miss the whole point that both realities influence the system until it collapses, so in a video game if there was the possibility of an enemy behind you if affects your gameplay somehow until you turn around and confirm if there is one or not

Well this is the question, how the observer and the possibilities interact. The brain in a vat etc. This is what the Vedic materiel describes as the dance of shakti, you are both the observer and the observed (by the source/shiva). Perhaps you gentletards could clear something up about the double-slit experiment.

For the sake of argument, lets say human observation collapses the wave function. My question is the sensual nature of the observation.

For now, we know it means visual confirmation, but what about hearing? What if I had a device that played one tone for an interference pattern and a different tone if not? Or a device that read the pattern then tapped me on the wrist?

Is it always visual confirmation that's required?
