If the centripetal force created by the angular velocity of the ship allowing a simulated gravitational force why can’t we just live in artificial planets within these space donuts instead of wasting time and effort on radio ware or even the even more pointless drive to live on different planets

So what your saying is the infrastructure itself isn’t impossible to build it’s just expensive and currently unprofitable? That doesn’t seem too bad especially if expedition missions to collect samples and info on other planets up close is ever needed

Since you know it’s a machine and it needs repairs since it gets used

I’d imagine it’s mostly for the engine and motor since they’ll be the most commonly used while everything else might aswell be fine due to the lack of friction

Though what about biomaterials when it comes to longevity? Don’t they have greater elasticity that can survive stressors?

They work fine on paper and in the distant future maybe they'll be commonplace, but there are practical limitations involved.

They need to be big enough that you get relatively small gradients in the 'spin gravity' the inhabitants feel or else you end up with a myriad of health and mental performance issues. Building a giant donut several thousand meters across just isn't a simple engineering task.

The biggest problem with space habitats is that they need lots of material for radiation shielding. The rotating pressure vessel of the hab weighs about as much as a skyscraper, but the shield weighs about as much as a dam. Luckily the shield can just be dirt.

before we can do any of that we need to mine asteroids for iron

No need to go as far as that. Even a tenth of Earth's gravity is sufficient for most day-to-day practical purposes. Exercise regimes can further compensate for bone density loss, and would work a lot better in low gravity than they do in orbit (micro gravity.)

we have no data on whether partial gravity mitigates the medical problems we have with microgravity. The japanese did centrifuge some mice on the ISS, but results haven't been published yet.

For everything else, a tenth earth gravity is fine. It lets you stand on the floor, put things on shelves without velcroing everything, walk/bounce around, lay down in bed, drop shits into the toilet, etc.
