>>14351874i think the general "scientific" consensus is that jesus was a real person but his miracles and other actions have probably been altered in the later writing. sure he didnt leave a lot of physical evidence but neither does 99.9999% of everyone else who lived 2000 years ago. we have a few things like the supposed crown of thorns and really its not that hard to believe that some guy that the romans didn't like and who claimed to be king might have been crucified as was common practice at the time and also fashioned a crown of thorns for fun and that we might still have that crown. supposedly he is also described in roman history shortly after his life too.
