The key concept is that you can make the approximation on the output as good as you want (for any epsilon > 0) by making the approximations on the inputs better (there exists a delta). You can use this sort of argument to show things are equal (ignoring infinitesimal differences, which you already did the moment you decided to model them with real numbers) because the difference is less than any positive fraction. If you're still here, maybe we can go through an example, like showing A = pi*r^2.

Ironically, the values you get from calculus are the true values for the imaginary, abstract objects calculus deals with, and can only ever approximately reflect anything in reality, not the other way around.

Think about it as applied to engineering. At a certain point, you can just ignore those extra decimals. They aren't even relevant. Calculus is throwing out the extra decimal that's infinitely small

Of course limits confuse you. They are "classical" (noncomputable) brain damage. Use convergent nested closed intervals instead. (Limits are just convergent nested intervals with the necessary error bars hidden in an epsilon-delta proof.)
