I just found this Iranian paper which basically says that benzodiazepines like Nordiazepam and Alpralozam can be made in 2 steps catalyst free. is this an actual feasible method for synthesis of GABA drugs or is this just another pajeet junk paper? Why aren't big companies just using this method rather than starting from toxic methods involving hydrazine?
