the thing inside it is a difference of squares which you can factorize in a product, from there you can separate the factors in 2 different roots due to the properties of powers, and then maybe you can do whatever it is it's done in calculus

the $\sqrt{dx}$ is almost surely a typo but if it isn't and you replace $x= \frac{1}{2}t^2$ for a change of variable such that $\sqrt{dx}=dt$ the boundary conitions become $\int_2^2$ which is identically zero. We may assume this is due to how square roots play with negatives

It's the area under the curve from (0, -2) to (0, 2). The area in quadrant I is equal to the absolute value of the area under in quadrant III, so the areas cancel themselves out. Answer is zero.

yeah but why the hell would put dx inside a function when by definition it is a delta, a multiplier of the entire integrand. that's how you calculate the area under the curve. it servers zero practical purpose and is completely contrived.

What?? This only makes sense if the whole integrand is symmetric. You can't decompose multiplicative parts and say they contribute zero. Just consider $sum_{-2}^{2} x^3x$ which clearly isn't the same is just summing x.

X^3 makes first part zero because of the integral limits and its an odd function. The next part is just a semicircle equation. R for sphere is obviously 2. Area of the semi is therefore 2*pi, multiply by the half then get pi.

You dont even need to write anything down.

On /sci, every expression is an "equation", and every "equation" has a "solution".
To "solve" an "equation" means to change the expression into another expression
that is not exactly the same but has the same value.
Example: x + 1 is an equation, and 1 + x is its solution.
You need to imagine being back in 4th grade, but with an incompetent teacher.

Buddy, it would be faster to bruteforce the password, knowing that it's only numbers. Assuming this, there are 1+e20 (10^20) possible combinations, where x is the length of the password. Assuming a maximum of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 possible passwords, or a password space of 1e+20, and assuming a very conservative 100,000,000,000 ops/guesses per second on a single modern CPU core for about 1,000,000,000 seconds (or about 31 years). If we parallelize that to 64 cores, we get a total of 6.4e+12 ops/guess per second, or about 15,625,000 (around 6 months) seconds to guess all 20 character, numerics-only password.

But, if we instead assume the midwit who put a dx inside a square root, is also terrible at other tasks such as securing his wifi, then we can realistically shrink our max password size to 8 chars, or a password space of 1+e10 (10^10) or 10,000,000,000. Assuming we still have our CPU cores, this would be cracked in 1/10 of a second -- and we would not need to do any real math.

The steps needed to get a wifi cracker are trivial, and are left as an exercise to the reader.
