Reality to the human is like stars reflected in a pond. We can't actually see the world outside of our bodies, rather a logically consistent symbolic representation of it. Not only that, but we evolved to only detect things that are common dangers to us. For example to see different parts of the radio frequencies spectrum, we have to use our build in sensory organs to interact with entities that can interact with these radio frequencies. So, we know for a fact that the things around us are different from how we see them, but how different is the question. How different do you think they are? Also, do you think that something we can't detect could one day collide with our senses and potentially kill everyone? From a scientific perspective, what do you think the chances are?
