Would hydrogen be a more economically/environmentally sustainable fuel source than fossil fuels? All the sources i've read up on have been conflicting. With the little knowledge I have about hydrogen, I know that it is a lot more dangerous to work with and a bit of a bitch to store compared to fossil fuels. And for the most part it seems that most fuel burning power plants could be retrofitted to burn hydrogen but this would obviously be costly. I guess my question is in the long term would it be worth making the switch?
