In fact, it's really fucking hard to get into a good CS PhD grad school because it's hypercompetitive. More than engineering, and about on par with physics and math. Physics and math are hard because funding is tight all around. CS is hard because despite having funding, there are easily over 3000 applicants at schools that are anywhere within the top 30 for your given subject. So it's fuckhard getting into a CS PhD, especially if you want to do anything interesting. That's your warning. Go for it, but be aware that it's hard.
Think of it this way: even if 95% of CS majors are retards, that leaves 5% hypercompetitive CS majors who have done summer internships, double majored in math themselves, or have taught themselves what they need to know. 5% of the huge fucking sea of CS majors...still outnumbers all math majors applying for grad school for any major, period. You really you're comfortable saying you could beat them?
