So if I understand this correctly, millions of years of evolution made people with brains that experience pleasure from things like exploring, training, cleaning one's body etc because they were useful from the evolutionary perspective. Nowadays people want to make their lives as comfortable as possible using the tools of industrial civilization. It means that eventually our environment would become so comfortable that no hardship will be necessary to cover all the people's needs for almost everyone on earth (let's assume that it's gonna happen). Does it mean that ultimately that future generations of people will stop feeling any pleasure at all it will become redundant? It seems like humanity is heading to total depression.
