>>14340741No. There is actually a height limit to mountains on Earth. The higher they get the faster they weather away. Because gravity is lower on Mars this rate is lower which allows Olympus Mons to be much higher than anything on Earth.

Fun fact, Olympus Mons is so big that you cannot see the peak from the base because of the curvature of the planet. The peak will be beyond the horizon. It's just that damn big.
