>>14334528>Is there a link between race and intelligence? There is certainly correlation, and almost certainly causation.
Variance in genetics accounts for 70% of variance in IQ, and there is no reason to assume that the distribution of IQ affecting alleles is identical between different groups, especially since the different groups exhibit differences in a wide range of other traits.
Note that there are claims about the genetic differences between races being insignificant. While the clams are technically true as presented, they're also often presented in a way that is misleading. For example "there are no uniquely black or white genes, or hardly any" is technically true. What is often left unsaid is that the ratio of alleles can be very different between groups. For example if 90% allele A, and 10% allele B, while blacks are 10% A and 90% B, then that's a dramatic difference in outcome, even though neither allele exists "purely" among blacks or whites.
Genes can be expressed in multiple parts of the body for various functions. About 84% of genes have some kind of expression in the brain, so it's almost a given that not only is there a difference in IQ outcomes due to genetic differences, but IQ variance will also correlate with physical traits, and this correlation will be due to such traits being connected to IQ related genes.
