My research pretains to transposons, and recently it has been dicsovered, that the transposon replication machinery can take mature mRNA with a long polyA tail and reverse transcribe it into DNA, duplicating the gene but placeing it in a new transcriptional enviroment. What makes it even more interesting, is that transposon silencing is lifted in certaine regions during gamete formation in some species, especially invasive species, which helps them adapt to new enviroments. Fucking fascinating that we have evolved to evolve better.
Anyway, i don't think it's a wast of time to do these exercises, i try to argue in good faith whenever possible. This may help make it more intuitive for people. It it doesent, i dicked around with dice for 10 min while drinking a beer. So be it.
