Maybe this is better fitted for /his/. I would like to read some theories backed by evidence as to why spanish universities in Spain and the americas were so shitty compared to Italian, french or anglo universities.
Spics are always going about how much they value education, how many roman scholars were actually roman and so on, but they cant show the actual accomplishements.
For instance the University of Salamanca was founded in 1200. Did any actual scholars ever worked there? What did they do in the last 800 years?
This isnt even about spanish society as a whole, but their academic sector.
