>>14331735>>14330255i don't know why codemonkey fags like you pretend that there is some kind of programming job that requires actual math. there isn't. in fact, the algorithms themselves are the easiest part of theoretical CS and coming up with or proving the correctness of algorithms is the easy part. not that programmers are actually even designing algorithms as you imply for 99% of their work, and when you do have to write something that is more like an algorithm its usually just a slight variant of some simple algorithm and data structure that already exists. programmers are so insecure about their job requiring no IQ and they have this really weird obsession with the idea of knowing math, even if its just basic calculus, because they don't actually know high level math or its applications.
