Not trying to shitpost, I've just never seen this addressed publicly, ever.
If ice is less dense than water and floats, causing greater surface area displacement when adding water + ice, then the melting of said ice shouldn't cause rising sea levels but lowering sea levels.
This wasn't ever addressed during my public schooling either. They just said "ice melting = rising sea levels.
This is not political, I don't care about that and this thread isn't for that.
