Is it possible, in theory, to inject knowledge in the brain?

Let me explain :
All our memories and the knowledge stored in our brain is nothing more than electric impulses and chemical connexions between our cells and neurons.

So, theoretically, would it be possible to alter these impulses and connexions to create artificial memories and, ultimately, inject knowledge in our brains? Could we possibly kind of "upload" some knowledge to our brains and instantly learn whatever we want?

It would be a massive step forward for humanity to learn how everything works and the entirety of a library in an instant instead of taking decades to learn advanced knowledge in any field. Could it be possible, in theory?
