Another theory is that 40% of the women who look at the problem are pretending to be retarded in order to make them appear dumber so that their exams are dumbed down. This is actually pretty smart.
Another possible explanation is that college women have already seen lots of similar tests and immediately conclude that its just another dumb test, like all the others, and deliberately fudge their answers, because they are bigger trolls than men.
Men on the other hand over complicate the problem by trying to figure out, by means of mathematical proof, if the horizontal water line should be above or below the left hand corner of the bottle. The researchers collect the data, conclude men are smarter, and therefore their exams are made harder. Which means more men fail. Which is pretty dumb.
So really who is smarter here?
