Since the best theory is that all matter, all everything is some sort of waveform arising from fluctuations of vacuum.
There are is no collapse of wavefunction or anything like that, but rather just observations of it through a window (eg birds see ultraviolet, we don't because they have a different window of observing).
So with this definition of what is real or what isn't, it is all equally fake, and reproducible given that you know how recreate the waves needed and have the specifications of the window (eg. person or perception).
So the question is moot, as is trying to understand things you cannot transcend, yet definitely exist.
Meaning? Same as that of water pouring out of a tap... hope to be seen through a window, and literally be a part of a larger wave. Is that important? Nothing is important
