Hi, I'm using a lithium battery for a project. It's a 18V(measures 20V) 1,5Ah battery from a drill. The components will draw around 700mA, but I'm worried the battery pack will catch fire or explode, because a lot of current is drawn. What measures can I take to prevent a disaster?

It's a black&decker 18V 1.5Ah battery in good shape barely used. Sorry if I'm on the wrong board
