What areas of science are most relevant to combating Russian disinformation and conspiracy theories? Obviously a lot of communication today happens on the internet, and the internet is entirely governed by algorithms. The question is, how can we make algorithms that are more resilient against the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories? I'm sure there's a lot of research on this topic, but I don't know where to begin. Any pointers would be appreciated.
