We need to start all over again from scratch. Forget about "particles" and "waves", forget the whole "particle zoo" bullshit, the Universe is not that complicated. Its fundamentally simple. But we have invented these bizarre hypotheses in an attempt to shoehorn our observations into a conceptually flawed model. The whole charade reminds me of those medieval "scientists" who attempted to explain the motions of the stars and planets with highly contrived mechanisms to suit their Geocentric model of the Universe. They did a brilliant job, they came at up the most amazing math and geometry for the time, but their entire premise of everything orbiting around the Earth was entirely wrong. All that effort, all that genius, and it was all completely wrong.
To overcome 100 years of bloated mind set we need one or both of two things.
1) Conceptual thinkers, geniuses whose minds are not entirely contaminated by the standard model.
2) Huge amounts of mind altering drugs. Yes. Huge amounts. Yes.
