>>14318671>What do you guys think about the Covid-19 Vaccine and more boardly mRNA vaccines?I decided to wait out on the current American vaccines offered, given that both are novel - mRNA has never been used for any other disease and adenoviral vector vaccines have only been used so far for Ebola a few years ago. I've been even more hesitant given that our government absolutely refuses to consider the efficacy of post-covid immunity and keeps pushing these shitty products in our faces.
Even more so, I was leaving towards Novavax since its delivery method is similar to HPV vaccines, but now suddenly the FDA wants to take its time reviewing and authorizing emergency use for it.
It's entirely up to you as far as your decision goes. I accepted the risk of covid, actually caught the omicorn variant, and recovered following a day of fatigue, aches, and a sore throat. Personally, if you're young, not fat, and don't have AIDS or some other debilitating disease, you'll probably be fine. I'm not fully on board the hype behind long covid and the idea it causes brain damage (that study was only completed on older test participants).
Everything surrounding the science behind these shots is shady as fuck, so go with your own instinct and assess your own risk.
