1 line = 1 side of a square (2 dimensions, 4 sides)
1 square = 1 side of a cube (3 dimensions, 6 sides)
1 cube = 1 side of a tesseract (4 dimensions, 8 sides)
if i tried to imagine a hyper cube i don't think my mind can do it. so i'm not even going try to imagine a 5 dimensional object.
also notice i haven't said one word about time yet, because we're talking strictly about geometry and time doesn't come into play?
