Kept staring at it for awhile, looked at each other and when we looked back it was gone. At the speed it was going, it should have been visible still. It had no tail, so it wasn't a comet or something and it wasn't a plane since it should have been flashing red and blue but the light was orange and didn't move - plus it was too slow for a plane and not moving like one.
Another time I went on a farm-stay with my family. We sat around a fire with a bunch of other families and a boy and my mother both saw some green thing flash across the sky. Only they saw it but it was cool to hear them describe it.
