Humanities only goal in this universe should be reaching the prerequisite knowledge of the universe required to determine the mechanisms which produced biological life and eliminating them—then eliminating ourselves along with all biological life currently alive. Whether this is even possible is debatable, but from my perspective it seems to be of the utmost importance.
There's no logical reason that biological life should be encouraged to infinitely perpetuate organisms against their will and suspend them in this hell, to feed on the corpses of one and other until they inevitably meet the same fate. It's an utterly pointless exercise in suffering, that produces nothing of value, and comes at a great expense to the organisms it produces—apart from a very small circle of those at the top of the hierarchy (which can be displaced at any moment by some unknown organism).
