I am required by law to wear a seatbelt, and also not cross a redlight. I don't have the freedom of not wearing a seatbelt or not passing a redlight without risking, another restriction of freedom, my license taken away.
In a truly free world, I wouldn't have to deal with any of this. If instead I am allowed to drive with no license, seatbelts, and even allowed to cross a red light, then I'd be free.
Accidents are when the law gets involved, and even then, if I am forced to settle the dispute with some official rather than with an arbitrator all parties involved agree to take the word of, then I am technically not free.
