Sad day when a janitor can call himself a Facility Engineer he doesnt need a BSc or anything at all.
Seems "engineer" is tossed around alot these days. Just flushing down the accomplishments of others.

How does Life Sciences have a neg ROI?
That chemistry biology and other engineering priciples?
What is Life Science and what is Engineering? What about the combination of the two?
Let's say someone studies Life Science medical engineering? Is that person considered an engineer? That person has been taught to design and build implants and other medical devices.

True "pure" Life Science (chem bio) is filled to the brim with women. I did Life Science Medical Engineering and we were 85- 90% men.

Life Science Technology Engineer???
Life Science uses engineering principles but for some reason is not technically considered engineering. Yet I have spoken to engineering universities for a masters in Bio/Medical Engineering and they say I am welcomed even though as an admission requirement you need a BSc in a technical engineering field.

It would make life much simpler if we could norm these titles so there would be no confusion. Bullshit euphemistic titles like Facility Manager or Facility Engineers are making it harder to spot competence.

in most countries, "engineer" is actually a legal title, earned by graduating from an accredited program. its the only undergraduate degree that you legally need to practice the progression, like an MD, or a lawyer license (?). thats why, for example, when you graduate from electrical engineering school, you don't get a BS, you get a BSEE. that might be how they defined "engineer" in that chart.

It matters. I can easily judge by the title what vacancies I am searching for and how much pay I will be getting.
If you start calling technicians and mechanics "engineers" and I am searching for an engineering job I expect an engineering pay. If you leave out info in your vacancy letter and after I've jumped through all the hoops you laid out for me only to be deceived at the end with a technicians pay then I will kill you!
