I can understand the theory. I can do the questions my professor gives me. But I do poorly at tests.
The questions in the tests are harder than what I usually get (homework, etc) and it takes me a while to figure it out. Exams, of course barely give enough time to do the questions, so by the time I figure it out, I'm running out of time.
I read somewhere that math is pattern recognition. Am I struggling because I encounter this variation of the question for the first time during the exam?
What should I do, frens? I suck at math. I take a long amount of time to figure out how to do questions. How can I improve?
