I must either have really good luck or really bad luck, because I've been shocked by outlets on three occasions, and it was never very serious. Two of the incidents happened because I had a habit of plugging shit into the outlet at night without looking, and I would just feel around with my fingers as I tried to insert the plug in the outlet.
