space x could have done a couple of tests already , but now theres that red tape they got to cut through first.

Its not about starship. Its oencil pushers shitting themselves over environmental questions. Star base was never certified as launch location. They got to asess the impact on nature and people. Thats why they build a launch complex at nasa now. That land is already certified
