You're paying almost as much for school as a MD, except you're making half the pay starting out and you're not going that much higher up without some kind of business ownership.

Also, this is a woman's profession. Either be a real MD or find something else

Vet is more a calling than professional path.
You have to REALLY REALLY want to be a vet otherwise you will not be happy with it.
You have to train as much as Medical doctor and get much less pay with very little room to move up to more pay.
