Math. Discrete math to be exact.

It was mainly on Sets, Set Operations, Functions, Sequences and Summations, Cardinality of Sets, and some Modular Arithemetic and cryptography thrown in.

My professor is very smart, but is confusing as fuck to listen to. I tried to study a bit on my own, probably a day or 2 before the test. I probably should have given it more time.

I wasn't really super confident. I got a 62 (65 is a C), with a 10 point curve already factored in. During the test I was so concentrated on it. I forgot the time, and was a little too-concentrated. However, you can be concentrated, yet not know the shit.

Yikes, imagine failing in the easiest math class post calc.

Otherwise from the graphs I've seen posted on /sci/ caffeine has a slight negative effect on IQ, perhaps other stimulants like adderall do the same.

try wellbutrin that's helped the most even though I thought it wouldn't. Two weeks or so after it sets in you will be jumping out of bed in the morning, but you can be a little cranky when you first start too.

Also the best way I found to deal with anxiety is to accept it. There are good feelings and bad feelings and they are all trying to communicate something to you. When I was taking gabapentin for anxiety, I felt way less anxiety and more comfortable in public. But I noticed my grades suffered because I no longer had that intense ass anxiety to counter act my procrastination.

For "real" classes you're going to want to have to studied and done the homework before teacher lectures that material. Anything else is falling behind, no more studying easy intuitive concepts right before the test.

Yeah this is the amphetamine hitting you, completely losing track of the time and your larger objectives is how it works and lets people do things like cram 5 chapters of a book before a midterm. In your case its leading you to overfocus inappropriately, thats not treatment but just taking the ADHD in a different direction. Depending on the pills you may be able to split them in half or just go to one a day, if you're unsure just ring up your shrink, tell them whats up and ask what would be best for lowering doseage.

It really may be as simple as needing to take it only once a day, or every other day. Everybody is different and frankly its up to you to decide if the suggest med, dosage, and interval are working or need tweaked.
