How would a base-eleven's decimal system(s) work? I can understand fractions and mulltiplication with it easy enough, but decimals are tripping me up.

you can probably find resources that show how to do this in hexadecimal, so it would be somewhat similar for elevenzy

0.3456789A in base 11 = (3/11^1) + (4/11^2) + (5/11^3) + (6/11^4) + (7/11^5) + (8/11^6) + (9/11^7) + (10/11^8) in decimal,

replace the 11 with any base number you want and thats how you can convert. Its just orders of magnitude. first decimal place 1/10, second place is 1/10^2, and so on.

long division is the same, but when you multiply by 10 each step of the way, you instead multiply by 11.

for example, 2/3 = 0 + (22/3)/11 = 7/11 + (11/3)/11^2 = 7/11 + 3/11^2 + (22/3)/11^3 = 7/11 + 3/11^2 + 7/11^3 + ... = 0.7373...

Let me rephrase my problem. For ease of translation, let's just use A-J as placeholders. J is 10, A0 is ,11. So, A00 is 121, BA is 23, etc.
If I take 11.1 and multiply it by 10, I get 111. Easy. My issue comes in translating this to base eleven. If I translate 1/10, or .1, the number "becomes" .A repeating, and I end up with J0.J repeating. Am I missing something?

Use 0-9 for your first 10 'digits' and A for your 11th 'digit'.

1/A = 0.111... you just use >>14292376

You realize base-11 wouldn't use our symbols, right? At the very least, they would add another, usually letters, denoting the 9+n values. E.g. A=10
