Also they could've easily debunked any Russian claims simply by citing the specific grants and research projects conducted there if they're harmless indeed
Rusians, on the other hand, show supposedly captured papers about studies of pathogen transmission using specific types of migratory birds that mostly fly over Russia and eastern Europe, a bona fide bioweapon research. US in fact had less evidence to justify the Iraq invasion, but apparently this doesn't work the same way for anybody else for some reason now?
